Who we are

What we collect and why

When you book online we ask for your name, email, number of guests, date and time, and if you like your phone number and a note. We use them only to manage your booking: to send you the confirmation link and to contact you about your visit. This is needed to carry out your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without a name and email we can’t take an online booking; you can always call.

If you mention an allergy or diet, that is health information. We use it only to prepare your visit, with your consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can also leave it out or tell us at the restaurant.

To keep out spam, Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical details such as your IP address and browser, based on our legitimate interest in protecting our booking system from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We make no automated decisions about you, send no newsletter, and never sell or share your data for advertising.

How long

Your booking details are deleted automatically, at the latest 12 months after the date of your booking.

Who helps us

Only the restaurant sees your booking. To run the website we use these processors: Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database), both with servers in Frankfurt, Resend (sending emails) and Cloudflare (spam check). Where any of them processes data outside the EU, this is covered by GDPR safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

We use no cookies for tracking, statistics or advertising, so there is no cookie banner. If you choose a language yourself, a cookie (lang) remembers it for a year. Only staff get cookies when they log in, to stay signed in.

Your rights

You can see your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, take it with you, and withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us on 03 238 81 91 or at the restaurant.
